The 2025 Springs Book Bash is our third event, but the first of this stature. We have a full-on venue (Creekside Events Center), 70+ authors (check out the list HERE), and plans for some amazing giveaways and goodies.
As expected, there are a few questions about what this event is. So, here we go!
What is the Book Bash?
The Book Bash is the brain child of C.H. Lyn, grown and developed by Lyn, Michelle N. Hagood, and the rest of the planning committee. The idea is to have the feel of a farmers market/craft fair - but all books (and book related merch)! We want to encourage the bookish community and foster relationships amongst authors and readers.
What ages are appropriate?
All ages are welcome! We have a variety of authors with reading levels ranging from tots to teens to spicy romance readers.
Will there be food?
There will be coffee carts each day of the event (April 26th and 27th). We do NOT plan on having free food and treats out this time around due to space constraints - nor do we plan on having any food trucks. Some vendors may have snacks, but food will not be provided.
Will there be a panel?
We have no plans for a panel. Think of the Bash as a craft fair rather than a convention. We don’t have the space for meeting rooms, panels, or talks.

What do I need to know about tickets?
We are requiring tickets for this event. The last Bash was a huge success, which led to some very busy times. For the 2025 event, you must have a ticket to attend. We have a variety of prices, from FREE to $75.
The free tickets are for the later time slots on Saturday April 26th and Sunday April 27th. There is no guarantee that authors will have books remaining by the end of the day, though we are encouraging authors to make sure they bring enough to last all day.
Each person attending will receive a slip for the giveaway baskets. We ask that you put your name and number on your slip, then put it into the jar for the corresponding basket at the event. We will contact winners at the end of each day.
Paid tickets ($35 and $75) will receive extra slips for the giveaways as well as tote bags with various goodies. The $75 tier will also receive a flower crown.
Is there room for more authors/vendors?
Unfortunately not. We are completely full and our waitlist for the 2025 event is also full. We’ve had over 150 applicants for this event - which is a huge honor. Hopefully we can continue to expand in later years.
